Adega de Redondo, Porta da Ravessa Branco Reserva

Adega de Redondo is a winery located in the heart of the Alentejo wine region in Portugal. This winery has a long history of producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. One of the standout wines from Adega de Redondo is the Porta da Ravessa Branco Reserva, a white wine that showcases the best of what the Alentejo has to offer.

It is made from a blend of local grape varieties, Fernão Pires, Arinto and Verdelho.  These grapes are grown in the hot and dry climate of the Alentejo, where they are able to ripen fully and develop their characteristic. The wine is aged in oak barrels for several months, which imparts additional complexity and depth to the wine.

What sets the Porta da Ravessa Branco Reserva apart from other white wines is its ability to age gracefully. While many white wines are meant to be consumed young and fresh, this wine can be cellared for several years, allowing it to develop even more over time.

On the nose, the Porta da Ravessa Branco Reserva displays aromas of ripe peach, apricot, and citrus fruits, along with hints of vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, with notes of tropical fruit, honey, and a subtle minerality that adds freshness and balance.

The finish is long and satisfying, with a touch of acidity that makes this wine a perfect match for seafood, grilled chicken, or creamy pasta dishes.
