Another sensational example from the Glaetzer stable, the Anaperenna (formely Godolphin) is an outstanding blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, with all fruit coming from the Ebenezer sub-region of Barossa. The average age of the vines range from 60-85 years old. The nose leads with intriguing aromas of cassis, blackberry, dried herb and smoked spices. The palate is pure and very focused with ripe black fruits, mocha, menthol and aniseed, the fine grained tannins add further mouth feel with the natural acidity providing balance and freshness.
