Ben Glaetzer like his father Colin, believes that great wines are made in the vineyard. Their belief in “terroir” and an understanding of the ancient dry-grown vineyards in the renowned Ebenezer district of the Barossa is evident. Glaetzer Wallace takes on the traditional Barossa blend of Shiraz and Grenache, on the nose it displays aromas of blackberries, liqourice, vanilla and pepper spice. Full bodied, rich and generous the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice followed a spicy note on the end. Fleshy mouthfeel with very fine grained velvet like tannins.
