Spread over 130 hectares, 70 of which are situated on the estate, Alión by Vega Sicilia is made from a meticulous selection of the most exceptional vineyards in the Ribera del Duero appellation. Produced from 100% Tinto Fino, (Tempranillo) after fermentation, the wine is aged in barrels (80% new oak and 10% American oak) as well as in concrete tanks to soften the tannins all while preserving the freshness of the wine.

A rich wine, this blend combines fresh fruit and graphite aromas. The delicious depth is revealed throughout the tasting experience. The finesse of the ageing process is enhanced by the subtle complexity of the spicy notes.
