Gamay grapes are grown on siliceous clay on gentle slopes, atypical of the Beaujolais region, this has all the appeal you come to expect from Beaujolais; fresh, juicy and packed full of bright red fruits. The palate displays structure and expresses the faintest hint of minerality adding to the complexity of the wine. A great wine to enjoy with or without food, but always great with charcuterie and pate.
