Domaine Lafran-Veyrolles Bandol Rouge is a red wine produced in the Bandol appellation, located in the Provence region of France. Bandol Rouge wines are made from a minimum of 50% Mourvèdre grapes, along with Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah.

Lafran-Veyrolles Bandol Rouge is known for its rich and full-bodied flavour profile, with notes of dark fruit, spices, and herbs. The wine is typically aged for several years before release, allowing it to develop complex aromas and flavours. The Domaine is a well-regarded producer in the Bandol region, known for producing high-quality, traditional wines that showcase the unique character of the terroir. 70% Mourvèdre, 10% Grenache and 10% Cinsault.

Deep ruby colour and aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and blackcurrant, along with notes of leather, earth, and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and a pronounced acidity, delivering flavours of dark fruit, pepper, and herbs, with a long and complex finish. Overall, it is a wine that is both powerful and elegant, with a unique character that reflects the terroir of the Bandol appellation.

Best served alongside Meatballs in a rich tomato sauce, prime pink beef, mushroom risotto with roasted garlic.
