The gin is made using locally sourced botanicals, including gorse flower, meadowsweet, and wild angelica, as well as more traditional botanicals such as juniper, coriander seed, and lemon peel. The use of the pot still in the distillation process gives the gin a distinctive character and depth of flavour, with a creamy mouthfeel and a spicy finish.

Echlinville Irish Pot Still Gin has won a number of awards since its release, including a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2018. It is best served over ice with tonic and a slice of orange or grapefruit and makes a great base for a variety of gin cocktails.
