This project began at the end of the 80s, when the first experiments with French oak barrels started. During the last harvests, the technique has been refined to achieve a wine with a perfect balance between wood and fruit. The grapes come from the highest part of the Tremoedo estate, with very low yields and small berries. Here we do intensive canopy management, in addition to a long maceration process, followed by at least 12 months on fine lees to increase the life of this wine.
Intense straw yellow, very bright and with ocher reflections. In the nose it is explosive, concentrated, with aromas of dehydrated stone fruit, dried figs, coffee, marzipan, brown glaze, slightly spicy, the product of its aging in barrels.
In the mouth it is marked acidity, nerve and freshness. Its body is medium, light, at the same time very tasty, dominating the salt from its midpoint in the mouth to its long finish.
