Hennessy XO the original ‘extra-old’ cognac, first bottled in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy for family and friends, therefore the term XO was coined for this very Cognac. This blend includes over 100 eaux-de-vie and is certainly more darker and much more complex than the VSOP. On the nose it is rich and full with dark dried fruit notes namely dates, plums and sultana.
