A fine, silky Pinot Noir grown in horse ploughed, naturally composted soils in Chambolle-Musigny, one of the most prestigious communes in the Côte-d’Or département. High-density planting results in low-yielding, high-quality fruit. The nose is attractive, with scents of dark berry fruit, sous-bois and a pinch of seaweed. On the palette, it is medium-bodied, with supple tannins and interludes of white pepper and delicate spice, with a savoury, truffle-like finish. This wine is perfect for drinking now, and would be best consumed before the end of the decade.
