Originating in a picturesque village in a valley in Northern Beaune, this Burgundy is sourced from grapes grown in the renowned Clos de Godeaux vineyard, with its southern exposure making it ideal for growing Pinot Noir. Hand-harvested and vinified using indigenous yeast, it is then aged in 20% new French Oak for 14-18 months. It has a rich, ruby-red colour and scents of rose petal, red berries and subtle spice. It offers silky tannins on the palette, with tones of raspberry, blackcurrant and cedar. This delightfully delicate wine is the ideal partner for game or well-seasoned chicken.
