Baron Patrick de Ladoucette is a renowned French wine producer and the owner of Domaine Baron de Ladoucette, a prestigious winery located in the Loire Valley, France. The estate is primarily known for its exceptional Sauvignon Blanc wines, particularly its flagship Pouilly-Fumé, Baron de L.

The history of the winery dates to the 18th century when the Comte Lafond family, ancestors of Baron de Ladoucette, acquired vineyards in the Loire Valley. Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took over the estate in the 1970s and dedicated himself to producing world-class Sauvignon Blanc wines.

The estate’s vineyards span over seventy hectares (173 acres) and are situated in the Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre appellations of the Loire Valley. The vineyards benefit from the region’s unique terroir, characterized by limestone and flint soils, as well as a continental climate.

The colour is pale gold with green tints. The nose is delicate with ripe fruit such as pear and white peach. It also has complex notes of beeswax, vanilla, and flint. The mouth has a fresh fruity beginning, is fleshy and robust, and has good structure. It is balanced between a fruity roundness and mineral firmness. An exceptionally long finish.
