Lawson’s Dry Hills Reserve Pinot Noir

A premium red wine from the Marlborough region of New Zealand.

Lawson’s Dry Hills is a family-owned winery that was established in 1992 and is known for producing high-quality wines from the Marlborough region.

100% Pinot Noir, grown in the Waihopai Valley and Awatere Valley sub-regions of Marlborough. The grapes are handpicked and then fermented in open-top fermenters using wild yeast. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 11 months before being bottled.

A rich and complex wine with aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, and plum, as well as hints of vanilla and spice from the oak aging.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a velvety texture and flavours of dark fruit, chocolate, and coffee. The wine has a long and lingering finish with a balanced acidity and tannin structure.

The wine has received critical acclaim, with several awards and high ratings from wine experts. It was awarded a gold medal at the New Zealand International Wine Show and received 93 points from Wine Spectator.

Lawson’s Dry Hills showcases the quality of Pinot Noir grown in Marlborough. It is a wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared for several years to come.
