A delicate Gamay comprising of grapes sourced primarily from the coveted Cru of Morgon, this wine is produced using wholly biodynamic practices and epitomises the sustainable and environmentally-friendly winemaking process that the Lapierre Family is devoted to. Grapes are picked at the latest possible moment to achieve the atypical sweet, fruity Beaujolais style. It is then aged on fine lees for at least nine months in oak foudres, allowing a limited degree of spice and cedar. It maintains a fleshy, fruity elegance, with Summer fruits, cherries and interludes of plum. This wine should ideally be served slightly chilled, allowing the fruit and floral tones to flourish fully.
