The Purple Angel is a blend of 92% Carmenere and 8% Petit Verdot; 18 months in new French and American oak has led to a creamy mouth feel that carries through to a long and seductive finish.

Purple Angel displays the rich flavours typical of Carmenère. Deep ruby red in colour, the wine has alluring redcurrant and blackberry notes on the nose, combined with delicate herbaceous notes of nettle, violet and rosehip. The palate is densely concentrated, full-bodied, with rich tannins, vibrant acidity and spice and mocha lingering on the finish.
