This is the Peter Lehmann flagship wine, first produced in 1987 and made from a selection of their best Shiraz. The fruit for this wine was predominantly sourced from extremely low-yielding vineyards from Ebenezer, in northern Barossa. It is fermented and aged in oak (90% French) for 14 months prior to bottling. On the nose the bouquet is beautifully integrated with dark briary fruits, chocolate and a touch of aniseed. The palate shows richness and length expected of a great Stonewell and the finish is firm yet finely grained.
