From renowned Soave producer Nino Pieropan, the Recioto di Soave is a result of pressing dried Garganega grapes that had been dried on traditional straw mats for 5 months, 10-15% of the grapes included Botrytis. The grapes were then transferred to large old oak cask for fermentation and ageing for 2 years. A perfectly balanced palate with fresh acidity balancing the natural sweetness, pure flavours of baked peach, toffee and apricot frangipane coat the palate. A lovely match to cheese or baked apricot and almond tart.
