This is much more traditional in style than the 10 Year Old, although it still has a youthful pink tinge to the otherwise tawny hue. An appealing mix of gentle fruit on the palate, which is silky and carries good flesh and weight. The mid-palate again is gentle with delicious stewed fruits, nuts and spices. The finish is long and fresh with a defined tannic backbone. An excellent accompaniment with soft cheeses such as brie or with desserts in particular.
