An intriguing blend of 90% Glera and 10% barrel-aged Chardonnay, this cuvée is soft pressed and subsequently fermented at a controlled temperature. It is a pale-golden colour, with fine bubbles and mild effervescence. It exhibits olfactory notes of ripe fruit, vanilla and a hint of honey. It has a velvety, full-bodied mouthfeel, with banana and a mild, earth-like nuttiness, courtesy of the oaked Chardonnay. Best saved for celebratory occasions or prestigious events, and paired with oysters or whitefish.
